…we will guide your wishes and give our expert consultation

to our Design, Build and Installation in your location

with experience, certification and world-class teams.

Our design, install and build Rope Bridges start with three broad categories - suspended Rope Bridges, Fixed-Beam Rope Bridges and Log Rope Bridges, always delivered globally as a world-class bespoke solution.

Suspended Rope Bridges

Longer span Rope Bridges for rivers, lakes, and canyons. Tree-to-tree locations in woodlands and are perfect for gardens, woodlands, resorts, visitor attractions and adventure parks.

Fixed-Beam Rope Bridges

Short span fixed-beam Rope Bridges are perfect for our custom treehouse projects and between treehouse platforms or bespoke play ‘islands’.

Log Rope Bridges

Rope Bridges with rounded treads or rustic logs to accommodate a gradient usually as a “wow-factor” entrance to a treehouse or platform from the lawn.

The key to a successful Rope Bridge solution is what it is anchored to, we have proven experience in all locations and with planning requirements to deliver load-tested and often zero-impact anchors, with exclusive Rope Bridge designed break-load ropes and soft-shackles up to 944 tonnes. Our materials are tested, certificated, serviced and installed by world-class qualified and experienced project teams.

Suspended Rope Bridges

Flexible Rope Bridges for longer spans

Suspended Rope Bridges are perfect across rivers, lakes and canyons

  • A perfect solution for longer span Rope Bridges, in particular over rivers, lakes, ponds and canyons, also ideal for Adventure Parks. We work from anchor points established at each end, either using a zero-impact certified and proprietary ground buried anchor system or suitable ground buried concrete ‘pads’ with integrated structural anchor plates designed and fabricated at our workshop. Typically, if suitable trees are available, we can ‘anchor’ to trees at each end of the Rope Bridge using tree-friendly webbing slings or rope soft-shackles.

  • In any case, the anchor points can run longer than the actual Rope Bridge span and we can also integrate ground-based deck platforms at each end to establish a great looking start and finish to the Rope Bridge [with balustrades if necessary] and also Rope Bridge height above water if there are relevant issues with flood forecasts.

  • Common lengths of Rope Bridge can be more than around 5 metres to 25m, although we have designed and installed Rope Bridges at 50m lengths across rivers and canyons and we have even installed a Rope Bridge directly into granite boulders where the availability of ground anchors or trees was not an option.

  • As ever with Rope Bridge design and build, it is what is at each end of the proposed location that is key to structural integrity and design success. Initially, we can work from location photos to advise and consult with Rope Bridge options, but we also offer a site visit consultancy to discuss all opportunities.

  • Structurally, suspended Rope Bridges work from anchor-to-anchor using structural steel cables or ropes with all elements suspended inbound on the structural lines, including the round timber uprights at each end required for the rope-work balustrades – it’s what we call a ‘floating Rope Bridgesolution which allows us to work with our own Rope Bridge system in many unique and awesome locations both throughout the UK and worldwide.

Fixed-Beam Rope Bridges

Perfect for bridging level platforms, decks or treehouses

“ Fixed-beam Rope Bridges have an end-to-end ‘beam’ through the rope balustrades

  • Our fixed-beam Rope Bridges are perfect as a Rope Bridge design solution between platforms or decks and from treehouses. The purpose of the integrated fixed-beam is simply to hold the two ends apart, typically it sits at half-height within the rope balustrades but can also sit lower or even closer to the upper 'hand-rail'.

  • Always sitting level end-to-end, it is possible to increase [or decrease] height overall by installing with a step up and/or down at either end [usually 300mm].

  • Because the 'stress-and-strain' between two fixed points is taken up by the fixed-beam on this Rope Bridge design and installation solution, we support the timber walkway treads underneath with ropes fixed at each end to a round timber beam.

  • Although a fully integrated Rope Bridge design and installation, there is a limit to the length determined by the length of the fixed-beams - a 3m span or less works perfectly and there are awesome options to span up to around 6m if required. Overall structural integrity is always going to be dependant upon what is at each end - so our advice and consultation is always for a Rope Bridge to be integral to an overall design rather than being something simply added after everything else is built.

  • Structurally perfect and beautiful Fixed-Beam Rope Bridges for treehouses, platforms and decks providing an adventure and imaginative play journey within a family garden kids play-set treehouses and playhouses. Adds real adventure and fantasy plus a playful connection to our whole world of play, such as Climbing Walls, Zip Wires and Fireman's Poles. Great fun for gardens and schools, packed with fantasy and imagination.

Log Rope Bridges

Rounded treads to connect from lawn to treehouse

Log Rope Bridges are fantastic wherever you need a change of height

  • Our Log Rope Bridges are a perfect solution where a treehouse adventure starts from the lawn or woodland floor, leading upwards to a treehouse or platform. Our Log Rope Bridges make an awesome treehouse or platform entrance, with the adventure and make-believe starting right from first entering the Rope Bridge.

  • In these situations, flat Rope Bridge ‘slats’ don’t work because of the gradient, so we use round timber logs that are set inbound on ropes or steel cables to provide suitable ‘steps’ whilst holding the rope balustrades.

  • Typically, with Rope Bridges up to around 4.8m length [which is perfect for a Rope Bridge entrance], we integrate a fixed-beam into the Rope Bridge to hold the two ends apart, this is usually at half-height within the rope balustrades but can also sit lower or even closer to the upper ‘hand-rail’.

  • Log Rope Bridges are a perfect and adventurous entrance to a garden or back-yard treehouse play-set or platform decks from the garden lawn, they look stunning and much more fun than steps. A real "wow-factor" feature for a Landscape Designer to include, often forgotten - the route up and into a treehouse needs to be adventurous and imaginative, very much part of the play journey.
