Longest ‘garden’ Rope Bridge in the UK

…a 42m suspended Rope Bridge from family garden to lake.

Created within a private garden this Rope Bridge takes the family on a journey of adventure from the garden and across a large woodland canyon to a beautiful lakeside picnic spot with a waterfall and glorious views across Yorkshire Dales.

The vision and passion of our client but something he didn’t know could ever be achieved. We were contacted by his landscape architect who had created the design-line and explored the reality of making this happen.

Following a site consultation we could see and understand a solution including specification of ground buried concrete ‘pads’, to offer a complete and detailed proposal for design and build. Our design team produced drawings, load calculations and planned a project managed build schedule. With our expert installation team on site we worked closely with the client and landscape architect to deliver the longest ‘garden’ Rope Bridge in the UK.

We had previously built the longest Rope Bridge in the UK over a river in Staffordshire at 40m and this project is a little longer - so we are excited to have created the Longest ‘garden’ Rope Bridge in the UK over a river AND over a canyon.
